The signature motifs of the “Tæwas” series are clouds and suns. Last winter, Tanel Veenre’s home studio always had a camera ready on the table, and whenever he noticed interesting cloud formations, he would rush outside to capture them. Clouds as perfect chance—caught in a moment and unique in time.
These clouds found their way onto fabric, giving rise to dresses, kaftans, jackets, and blouses.
But where there are clouds, there is also the sun. To balance the collection’s cloudiness, Tanel created silver-wire suns for the ears and neck. And since there still seemed to be more room for clouds, cloud-shaped earrings made from unique material—river pearl—were also born. Created in collaboration with the greatest designer, nature itself, each cloud piece is uniquely one of a kind.
