The Tæwas collection is built around two central motifs: clouds and suns. Throughout last winter, Tanel always kept a camera ready on the table in his home studio. Whenever he noticed an intriguing cloud formation, he would rush outside to capture it. Clouds represent perfect chance—fleeting, caught in a single moment, and never to be repeated. These very clouds then found their way onto fabric, inspiring dresses, kaftans, jackets, and blouses.
But where there are clouds, there is also the sun. To balance the cloud-filled fashion collection, Tanel created delicate sun motifs in silver wire for earrings and necklaces. And since there never seemed to be quite enough clouds, he also designed cloud-shaped earrings from a unique material known as blister pearl. Created in collaboration with the greatest artist of all—nature—each cloud jewel is completely one of a kind, with its own unrepeatable character.
