Do you remember when we posted a call on Facebook to find models for the Embassy of Fashion fashion show in Haapsalu? The response was far more enthusiastic than we had expected – more than 50 fantastic women from Haapsalu got in touch with us, and each of them could have been part of a remarkable show. In the end, however, this is the selection of ladies with whom the fashion show came to life at the Haapsalu Fishermen’s Club House. During a break in the show, Tanel slipped outside with the models to capture them in the authentic atmosphere of Haapsalu, surrounded by blooming lilacs. A heartfelt bow to all the wonderful ladies who helped bring Tanel’s creations to life! Hair and makeup were created by Reet and Loore Härmat.
Kristiina shone in an Estonia-inspired kaftan and a cream-coloured jacket, standing in the shade of Haapsalu’s blooming lilac bushes.
We took Mia-Delisa outside to an abandoned trailer and the edge of a meadow. She wore a fuchsia silk-satin blouse and wide (oh-so-comfortable!) trousers.
We let Renata melt into the evening sun near an abandoned farmhouse, wearing a silk dupioni jacket and a midsummer-cloud kaftan.
Monika moved effortlessly in a simply cut kaftan blouse and wide silk trousers, one of the new collection’s favourites.
With her red lips and blonde hair, Kristiina looked perfect in a warm pink Unimoon dress, a deep red shawl, and one of the cape series’ hits – pink flowers on a black background.
After Aldo Järvsoo’s breathtakingly dramatic couture on the runway, we also took the models out briefly to a meadow in Haapsalu. What a contrast between royalty and simplicity!
