The signature motifs of the “Tæwas” series are clouds and suns. One winter, Tanel Veenre kept a camera ready in his home studio, and whenever he noticed striking cloud formations, he would rush outside to capture them. Clouds as perfect chance—caught in the moment and unique in time.
These clouds found their way onto fabric, giving rise to dresses, kaftans, jackets, and blouses.
But where there are clouds, there is also the sun. To balance the collection’s cloudiness, Tanel created silver-wire suns for the ears and neck. And as there still seemed to be more room for clouds, cloud-shaped earrings made from unique material—river pearl—were also created. In collaboration with the greatest creator, nature itself, each cloud piece is uniquely one of a kind.
