But where there are clouds, there is also the sun. To balance the cloudiness of the fashion collection, Tanel Veenre<\/span> created silver-wire suns for the ears and neck. And since it felt like there could never be enough clouds, cloud-shaped earrings were also born\u2014made from a unique material: pre-pearls.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

With this series, Tanel Veenre<\/span> aimed to bring a sincere, childlike sense of freedom into the otherwise rather strict world of silver jewellery. In addition to a striking form\u2014after all, who hasn\u2019t drawn suns like these in childhood\u2014the designer\u2019s challenge was to find a dignified solution despite rising silver prices. In economically more challenging times, wire jewellery has always been popular, as it allows for voluminous pieces without making them heavy. To emphasise a sense of independent playfulness, the left and right pieces in each pair are intentionally slightly different.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\"\"\/\t\t\t\t

Clouds for your ears!<\/b><\/p>\n

In addition to suns, it is now also possible to wear clouds. In this series, Tanel Veenre<\/span> uses, for the first time, pre-pearls\u2014fascinating formations taken from the inner shell of the mother-of-pearl. This extraordinary material is always unique, meaning every piece of jewellery is one of a kind, combining the luminous sheen of freshwater pearls with cloud-like, billowing forms. Different shells also produce different tonalities\u2014greyish, golden, pinkish\u2026 painterly and one-of-a-kind little wonders.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

This is how the layered Cloud jewellery pieces were born in Tanel\u2019s studio. Composed of uniquely shaped fragments, these pieces are united by an elegant sterling silver structure that holds them together forever.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

What do you see?<\/strong>\r\nTanel first presented these pieces at KUMU in a very special and interactive way, inviting visitors to write doodles, words and thoughts on paper placed beneath the jewellery, describing what the pieces reminded them of.
